Every
now and then ya' just gotta have a real Texas artist... and Dale Howard is your man!
Born in the historic town of Marshall, deep in the east Texas piney
woods; Dale Howard grew up listening to Texas giants such as Ernest
Tubb, Jim
Reeves, Bob
Wills, George Jones and Conway Twitty.
Dale picked up the guitar at age 16, just as his family made a move to
Fort Worth and hasn't put it down since. Playing guitar and being the
lead singer for "The Pigeons" and singing in the church choir while in
high school kept Dale pretty busy. Yet somehow he found time to
perform in talent shows and
dabble in the magicians arts and has become
an accomplished illusionist.
A unique and gifted entertainer Dale Howard keeps the tradition of the
Texas Gentleman Performer alive. Giving audiences a wide variety of
traditional, contemporary, and Texas tunes mixed with a bit of humor
and a touch of magic!
Dale who is a BMI
affiliated songwriter
and a member of the Ft. Worth songwriters association,
recorded his first album project "Wings" in
2006 for
the "Pot O' Gold label". Recorded at the KMA studio in Nashville
"Wings" is Dale's first go at putting his musical magic down on tape.
Dale is now recording with the Grand Ol' Opry band an entirely new
album showing his strengths and variety as a country music artist.
